Pandit Sanjay Rath stands among the most revered luminaries of classical Vedic astrology, a sage-scholar whose life is devoted to preserving, illuminating, and transmitting the sacred science of Jyotisha in its purest form. Born into a venerable lineage of astrologers from Bira Balabhadrapur Sasan village in Puri, Odisha, his spiritual ancestry traces directly to the 16th-century saint-seer Sri Achyutananda — a cornerstone of India's mystical and philosophical heritage.

From an early age, he was immersed in traditional learning under the guidance of his distinguished uncle, the late Pandit Kasinath Rath, and inspired by the enduring legacy of his grandfather, Pandit Jagannath Rath — the celebrated Jyotish Ratna of Orissa and author of timeless astrological works. This rare confluence of scholarship, devotion, and discipline shaped not merely an astrologer, but a visionary teacher rooted in spiritual realization.

Though trained as an engineer, Pandit Sanjay Rath answered a higher calling — dedicating his life to serving humanity through the sacred sciences. As the founder of the Sri Jagannath Center, he has guided students across the world in classical systems such as Parāśara, Jaimini, Nadi, Narayana Dasha, and Mantra Shastra.
